A congregation near Vicksburg Lane in Plymouth completed a sanctuary renovation in 2019, replacing carpet with engineered hardwood throughout the main floor and installing new upholstered theatre-style seating in the balcony. The renovation created new cleaning requirements: hardwood floor care protocols that differ from the old carpet programme, and upholstered seating that shows lint and dust differently than the previous fixed pews.

We worked with their facilities committee to develop a scope specific to the post-renovation building: weekly vacuuming of the balcony seating using an upholstery attachment, hardwood floor dry-mopping after each use and damp-mopping on the weekly deep-clean schedule, microfiber-only products on the hardwood to prevent moisture from sitting on the finish. The facilities committee receives a copy of the cleaning log monthly.
